Individual brand films for emerging NYC designers, plus a behind the scenes documentary that captured the whole thing.
The Brief
The Creative Collective NYC runs a program in partnership with Foot Locker, Footaction, and Champs called LEED that selects a cohort of emerging NYC fashion designers and gives them resources and visibility to grow.
We were hired across two rounds of production to create individual brand films for each selected designer and a short documentary capturing the full experience.
The Approach
The challenge was balancing consistency with individuality. Each designer needed a film that reflected their specific brand voice while the documentary needed to capture the collective energy of the entire program.
We handled direction, camera operation, editing, and music supervision across both production rounds. One team, many voices, one cohesive body of work.
The Results
Each designer walked away with professional brand film content that could hold its own next to established brands. The documentary gave the CCNYC community a piece of work they could share and be proud of.
This is what community storytelling looks like when production quality matches the ambition of the people in front of the camera.
