The Brief
Truebill helps people take control of their finances. The challenge is that money is stressful and most financial content either feels clinical or preachy. Neither converts.
Working directly with their team on a weekly cadence, we built content that started with the emotion first. The frustration of mystery charges, the anxiety of not knowing where money went, the relief of finally having it figured out.
The Approach
Every video paired a real relatable experience with animated walkthroughs of the app in action. We showed how effortless the solution was without ever making the viewer feel talked down to.
The strategy was simple. Meet people where they are emotionally, then show them the exit. Roles on this project were Editor and Animator.
The Results
One piece of content broke through organically and Truebill invested over a million dollars to scale it across paid channels. That ad stayed active in their rotation for years after we made it.
The weekly production system kept building on that momentum with a library of assets that continued to perform long after the engagement ended.
