The Brief
Aaptiv built one of the first audio-based personal training apps. Great product. Hard sell. When your entire value proposition lives in your ears, getting someone to download and try it requires content that makes them feel the experience before they ever open the app.
We came in as Creative Lead to build the content strategy from the ground up and grow the member base fast.
The Approach
We mapped the emotional arc of a workout. The resistance before you start, the momentum once you do, the pride when you finish. Every video was built around one of those beats, then sized for Facebook ad standards where the acquisition was happening.
As Creative Lead the team also led two full rebrands and managed the in-house creative team through a period of rapid growth and investor attention.
The Results
The member base grew from 10,000 to 100,000 in four months. That growth attracted investment from Disney, Amazon, and Warner Music Group.
The creative work did not just build an audience. It built the proof of concept that made Aaptiv a compelling investment story.
